Sharafnama: International Journal of Kurdish Islamic Scientific History
Sharafnama is an international, academic, peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research examining the place of Kurdish scholars, scholarly institutions, and written heritage in the history of Islamic science and thought. The journal publishes interdisciplinary studies on Islamic sciences, the history of madrasas, manuscripts, intellectual traditions, scholarly networks, and Kurdish contributions to Islamic civilization.
The journal aims to foster academic communication among researchers working on Kurdish Islamic scientific and intellectual history in different countries, and to bring written heritage held in libraries, archives, and private collections to the attention of the scholarly world.
